Helping kids become disaster resilient

Disaster resilience is our ability to prevent, withstand and recover from the harmful impacts of natural hazards on people, places and the natural environment. As our climate changes, we’re likely to see more frequent and intense floods, storms and bushfires, so it’s really important that we know how to protect ourselves.

We’re big fans of planet Earth here at Ionata (and we love our kids too!) so we were thrilled to be a part of such an important program, helping kids keep themselves and their families safe from harm.

Resilience can be developed through knowledge, understanding and practice.
