For years, Metro Tasmania passengers have been asking for a way to see exactly when their bus will arrive. Now, with live tracking, commuters can get up-to-the-minute updates, making it easier than ever to plan their journeys with confidence.

The launch generated fantastic media coverage, with Minister Eric Abetz and Metro Tasmania CEO Katie Cooper officially unveiling the feature to the public. It was an exciting moment to see such an important update go live, bringing greater reliability and convenience to Tasmania’s public transport network.

Usage of the app jumped over 40% month on month following the release of real-time data demonstrating the immediate impact of the new feature.
