West Coast Wilderness Railway wins at the Diemen Awards
Over the weekend we took home the award for Best Website at the Diemen Awards and were a Finalist for the Grand Diemen for Digital while we were at it.

West Coast Wilderness Railway is one of Tasmania’s most distinctive tourism experiences, shaped as much by its history as by the dramatic landscape it travels through. That’s a lot to live up to digitally.
The brief was to translate that sense of place into a website that feels immersive and evocative, without sacrificing the clarity and accessibility that visitors actually need when they’re planning a trip and making a booking. It’s a balance that’s harder to strike than it sounds.
What made this project work was the partnership. Gemma and the team at West Coast Wilderness Railway knew their experience inside out, trusted the process, and showed up as enthusiastic collaborators at every stage.
Tom Chapman at Honeywagon beautifully shot the video imagery utilised throughout the site, making everything sharper. Great design and great photography are a combination that’s hard to beat.
The best websites are result of many hands working together and this was one where you can feel that in the finished product.
Being recognised at the Diemen Awards means something to us as a reflection of what everyone brought to the project — the team, the client, the collaborators. Work like this is a privilege, and it’s good to know that showed.

A big thanks also to the Diemen Awards committee and judges for putting on a great night. So good to shine a spotlight on the great work delivered by this amazing creative community.
